Dockside Boat & Bed is a certified Bed & Breakfast on private yachts. Our guests enjoy their own private, dockside boat for the night. Much more than a hotel room, a night on a yacht is a total experience. From the gentle waves lapping on the hull to the sounds of seagulls and pelicans overhead. All of our guests enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast onboard their boat.
Consisting of various fresh pastries, fruit and orange juice. The boats are also stocked with complimentary bottled water, coffee/tea service and light snacks. We also offer complimentary WiFi, DirectTV and DVD players onboard our yachts. We are located in the beautiful and scenic Rainbow Harbor in downtown Long Beach, California. Our dock is centrally located steps away from over 20 restaurants, shopping, the Aquarium of the Pacific, movie theater, boat rentals, whale watching and much more.

The story of Dockside Boat & Bed begins long before we even opened our doors in Spring of 1999 in Long Beach.
Our story begins in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1989.
Rob Harris was an advertising executive with a passion for travel and boats.
He saw marinas filled with beautiful boats that rarely saw any use.
Thus an idea was born; rent out privately owned boats to the public as a bed and breakfast.
After running two successful locations in Oakland and San Francisco, a third location was opened by his daughter, Kim and her husband Kent in 1999.

A 47' Bayliner motor yacht with a spacious and comfortable interior located on the end of our dock with spectacular 180 degree views.
Upon entering thru the pilothouse with it's own intimate seating area, you have an abundance of large windows to enjoy the panoramic views of the marina.
A few steps down is the full beam salon with a large sectional couch, wet bar with ice maker and 38 flat-screen TV with DVD player and DirectTV with an open galley with 3/4 size fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker and toaster.

After entering from the back deck, you are greeted by a full beam salon, featuring hardwood floors, banquette for dining and a comfortable sectional couch for relaxing or watching a movie.
The galley has a fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and coffee maker.
The primary stateroom has a queen size walk around bed with large windows to allow for lots of natural light.
The primary stateroom also features its own en suite bathroom with shower.
After entering from the back deck, you are greeted by a full beam salon, featuring hardwood floors, banquette for dining and a comfortable sectional couch for relaxing or watching a movie.
The galley has a fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and coffee maker.

Upon entering thru the mid-deck, you descend into the spacious and well appointed salon with double windows stretching the length of the room to allow for plenty of sunlight and for showcasing the magnificent views.
With two large couches, there is plenty of space to relax and enjoy the DirectTV.
The entire boat also features central climate control.
The galley kitchen is just 2 steps down from the salon with a fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and coffee maker.
The galley is also appointed with glasses, dishware and silverware for your use.

The primary bedroom has a very comfortable queen size bed with memory foam topper to ensure a wonderful night's sleep.
It also has a TV/DVD player to allow watching your favorite movie in bed.
There is one bathroom on board, that is small but has shower, toilet and sink.
The second bedroom can either sleep one adult or two small children or provide extra storage for your luggage.
Off the bedrooms is the small galley with refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster and microwave.
Like all of our yachts, we have appointed it with wine and champagne stemware/juice/cocktail glasses, plates and silverware.
It also has a TV/DVD player to allow watching your favorite movie in bed.
