Award Winning, updated, 1940's-style, Boutique Lodging that captures a quieter and more gracious era. The Captain Cook Inn has 17 very comfortable rooms with memory foam mattress toppers, cable TV, refrigerators and microwaves. All bathrooms are completely tiled with a wonderful shower head and fixtures that have a mid 1900's feel. The Captain Cook Inn is a fully restored and refurbished motor court.
Not too many still exist as motor courts were a style of motel very popular in the 40's and 50's where you park your car directly in front of your room. We like to think of ourselves as a modern throw back because many of our rooms have arched doorways and fully functional individual thermostat controlled radiators. All of our bathrooms and fully stocked kitchens are remodeled to include tile floors and bath surrounds.
We have a kitchen suite that sleeps up to six people. Several kitchen mini-suites can sleep up to four persons. We also offer a variety of deluxe sleeping rooms, which can be set up with several different options including adjoining rooms.

To our delight we discovered a lush meadow with rare protected butterflies when we reached the top of Cascade Head.
