Later in the 1960's, it became a halfway house for the County of Rockbridge until it became an Inn roughly around 1989.

Named after President Thomas Jefferson, who in 1774 bought the Natural Bridge located just 13 miles south of Lexington, this room is the largest in the Inn and features a king bed, a sitting area, a desk, a closets and a spacious private bathroom.

Named after George Washington, whose major donation to Liberty Hall Academy in 1796 enabled the fledgling school to survive, this room offers a king bed, sitting area, a large closet, and a private bathroom.
