One of California's oldest hotels, restaurant, and bar serving the tired, hungry, and thirsty visitors since 1863, when it first opened as a stage coach stop. Enjoy the wonderful history of Trinity County as displayed in our establishment. Feel the excitement of the Gold Rush. Let the walls speak to you about the hidden mysteries, the rotten deeds of greed, the passions of the early settlers who tried to tame this beautiful territory.
Enjoy a relaxed leisurely stay and be a part of the tradition where guests are welcomed as friends.
