Excelsior Springs is home to some of the best wine and craft brew experiences in Missouri. First starter's, the Spohn's are AWESOME people. My stay was incredible, the shower was HUGE and the breakfast, OH MY GOSH delicious.
I will be planning on coming back again to this place AWAY from the city of Overland Park. Thank you goes to the Elms for making a mistake on my room there and selling it out from underneath me. LOL! JK, they are great over there too since I own a DJ business playing music for a wonderful couple! Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Spohn for such a outstanding Bed & Breakfast!
My sister's wedding was in town and my friends and I chose to stay here because it was within walking distance from the reception hall. Our stay here was amazing! Any questions I had prior to showing up, the owners answered right away. The rooms are super clean and anything we could possibly need was there for us to use.

The concept for the Jailhouse B&B was born out of conversation with friends.
Anna Sue and I loved the downtown area of Excelsior Springs, Mo and wanted to add our two cents worth to it.
Our friends helped us re visit that old desire to own a B&B and once the thought was planted in our minds, we took the idea and ran with it.
Besides the history behind the property that we chose to make our home, my wife fell in love with it the moment she saw it.
I put in a lot of research and elbow grease to purchase the property, as it wasn't easily obtainable in the beginning.

The King Caribbean, is the Deluxe Suite with a king size bed and full separated bath with spa shower.
It is located on the street level of the Guest House.
The Guest House once served as a single story structure which housed the 1945 Plymouth police car belonging to the police chief, Bill Payne.
It is situated directly behind the "Big House" which contains the original jail structure for Excelsior Springs.
That jail room now serves as our kitchen where we prepare your amazing breakfast.
The room rate of $139 is for Friday and Saturday night occupancy with a full three-course breakfast.
It is located on the street level of the Guest House.
