Your hosts are Valdez residents Joshua and Tabatha Swierk.
Josh and I were both raised in Maine and met in college at the University of Maine, Orono.
Once we had college under our belts we were eager to explore more of this beautiful country that we had only started to get a taste of through a number of road trips.
In the summer of 2004 we were invited by Josh's parents to travel to Alaska with them.
While we were here we had the opportunity to explore a bit and visited Anchorage, Seward, Soldotna, Homer, Talkeetna, Denali National Park, Slana, Glennallen and finally Valdez.
Josh and I were both raised in Maine and met in college at the University of Maine, Orono.

We have our own private docks and water toys for guests to use on the lake, including an aluminum skiff, canoe, kayaks and paddle boards.
