How did two native New Yorkers like us come to be Innkeepers of this beautiful rustic mountain lodge?
It was the combination of having a family of six children while we both maintained a professional career.
Carmine building a successful family owned Construction Company and Anna Maria a dedicated career in nursing.
With our children now grown and out of the house and both of us retired from our professions, what a wonderful opportunity and natural progression to combine our love of family by managing a mountain lodge that brings families together.
It was the combination of having a family of six children while we both maintained a professional career.

The Lodge is our Bed & Breakfast Inn / Hotel consisting of six rooms and suites.
We have incorporated our love of the Adirondack style decor, including a two-story stone woodburning fireplace in the great room.
A full three course breakfast is served each morning.
A sample breakfast would include orange juice; a hot or cold fruit dish such as baked pears with vanilla sauce and almonds; from-scratch baked muffin or pastry such as a cranberry walnut muffin; and a main course like lighter-than-air waffles with real maple syrup from the Adirondacks and home-made sausage.

A large screened porch with dining table and comfortable seating area and other viewing areas will give you the sense of really being with nature as the cottage is about fifty feet from Cane Creek.
Lots on either side are vacant.
It has two bedrooms with one king and one queen bed and two full baths, wood-burning fireplace (operational October through March) (we supply the initial wood), free WiFi, Smart TV, DVD player & DVDs, land-line phone with unlimited USA long distance (cell service is spotty), and a lower covered deck with porch swing.
