Angel Rose is a charming 1881 Victorian home remodeled and first opened as a bed and breakfast in 2001 by the Fisher family. Subsequently purchased by Rusty and Jennifer Day to continue the tradition of warm hospitality and great food. A parlor for sitting and visiting, a library for the readers, and all within an easy walk to historic downtown Rockport, Texas.

Downtown Rockport offers a wide variety of shops and is home to the Texas Maritime Museum, Rockport Center for the Arts, Rockport Harbor and Beach Park. Angel Rose Bed and Breakfast is also a perfect place for gatherings such as Tea Parties, Receptions, Baby Showers, and other group meetings. Stay with us and enjoy an aura of turn of the century romance, charm and peace rarely found in today's world.
Services
Stepping from the front entryway through the library and directly into the Iris room you encounter a large ground floor bedroom and it's attached bathroom.
Its location on the front South East corner of the home brings early morning sunshine to guests and the producing Mango tree just outside it's windows.
The Iris Room features a king size bed and has a private bath.
Step through the front door, ascend the Main staircase to the second floor landing and seating area.
To your left is the Rose Room, a large room with a rose theme.
The morning light and view from this room of the harbor and bay is grand.
The Rose room is the only room without an attached bath, but the upstairs hall bathroom (the largest bathroom and bathtub in the home) is reserved solely for it's guests.
The Rose room features a queen size bed.
The Living room features a comfortable couch and chairs for pleasant conversation or an entertainment center hidden in an armoire is available to catch up on the ball game scores.
Cable TV with a selection of VHS tapes and DVD player are inside for your enjoyment.
A stereo with CD player is also included in the center.
The Parlor features a working fireplace with a hand carved antique mantle.
The loveseat and matching ladies and gentleman's chair surround a marble top coffee table.
Angel Rose features a rotating menu of Bed & Breakfast favorites so you never have the same thing twice.
We use only the best ingredients, purchased locally when possible, to satisfy your appetite.
Specialty Stuffed French Toast, pancakes, waffles, biscuits and sausage gravy, quiche, casseroles and Eggs Benedict are just some of the menu items.
Coffee is ready by 6:30 or earlier if needed.
Fresh fruit is incorporated into every meal and juice, milk or tea is served at the table, and, of course, our signature Pecan Pie Muffins!
We want to thank you for the enjoyable stay we had at your B&B last week.
Jennifer made us feel welcome and Rusty showed off his extensive knowledge of history.
In particular, we think the Eggs Benedict that Rusty prepared for breakfast were the most scrumptious we've ever had, and beautifully presented.
We recall Rusty talking about his delicious Oyster Gumbo and would like to try it if he's willing to share the recipe, please.
If you recall, we had to request downsizing after the first morning as your breakfast servings were so bountiful.
