Maria and Tim welcome you to Majestic View Bed and Breakfast in beautiful Homer, Alaska - known as "The Halibut Capital of the World" as well as "The End of the Road." Our inn is located on a secluded hillside above the town of Homer.

These are the words our guests use to describe the view: "amazing, glorious, unique, spectacular, one of a kind, unbelievable, breathtaking"; indeed, it's hard to find a better place to view the spit, the bay, and the Kenai Mountains and Harding Ice Field with its glaciers - which are across the bay.Majestic View Bed and Breakfast is a three-story home, designed and built by Maria in 1994.

Next-door is the cabin, which was added to the property in 2008. Together, they comprise seven "theme decorated" living spaces that vary in size and amenities; surely we will have a room, studio, or full-size apartment to fit your needs! All rooms have "something special" - be it a jet-tub or a private deck. Five of the seven rooms face the water and have huge windows so that you can always enjoy the scenery, sunrises, sunsets, and the moose that frequent our yard.

Included here is a smattering of photos from Maria, Tim, and our guests - wildlife, scenery, and activities that you can experience just about any given day in the Homer area.
When you have some time, please use it to check out each of our 50 photos, and if that isn't enough, there is also a separate photo gallery on the Majestic View Adventures page (strictly photos taken by guests when they are out on the water with Tim).
Do you have a good photo from a previous trip to Majestic View B and B? Make sure to email it to Tim or Maria, and we will see about including it for future guests to enjoy.
It's true that during summer, the days are long in Alaska.
But no matter what the season is, all you have to do is open your window drapes - and the breathtaking view will always be there!
At Majestic View Bed and Breakfast, we have had 22 years in the hospitality business; this "seasoning" helps us recognize the details that make your stay a warm, relaxing, and comfortable one.
We feel that we've organized a unique variety of living spaces that will fit almost any group, no matter how large or small.
The Main House is the center for socializing and mingling with Maria, Tim, and their families.
It offers three levels that contain bedrooms with private baths, a kitchenette, and a full two-bedroom apartment.
With outstanding views, ample common living space, and an enormous deck, you will be certain to find a living space to fit your needs!
When you want the best, you book the Rose Room.
Romantic and lovely, this is the finest place to relax in your sweetheart's arms, look over the tops of your toes, and see one of the most amazing views on earth!
Enjoy some added privacy in either the Salmon Suite or the Halibut House - both studio kitchenettes.
Since they are just a few steps away from the main house, you can still come over any time to socialize and enjoy breakfast.
This studio apartment and kitchenette is popular for its privacy and convenience.
Park within mere steps of your kitchen, bed, and deck.
Grill your fresh catch from your day of fishing, while you enjoy a cold beverage and watch one of our gorgeous panoramic views.
You'll see why we are spoiled by living here!
Homer, Alaska is rich in opportunity for adventure - and Tim is always on the go, looking for the next fun thing to do.
When our bed and breakfast guests began asking Tim to take them along on his adventures, Tim took steps to get his sea captain's license so that he could take our guests hunting, fishing, wildlife and scenery viewing, or transport them to their destination across the water.
The primary tourist season happens during June, July and August - but Tim and Maria want their guests to know that there is a host of fun things to do in the spring and fall, when Homer is quiet, and "back to normal."
