Tabard Inn
Award Winning, Employee-Owned Dupont Circle Boutique Hotel & Restaurant in Washington, DC. The Tabard Inn in downtown Washington, DC is not your typical hotel. Our 100 year old boutique hotel encompassing three Victorian townhouses features 35 unique floorplans, each with their own style and stories, and combines old world charm with modern amenities.

What is common is our professional, attentive staff and unmatched hospitality. Our story is as unique as our hotel. During our rich history, we've seen and heard a few things. We survived the Great Depression. During World War II, we served as the home of the Navy Women Accepted Volunteer Services (WAVES). We've recently applied to become a historical landmark, and are a majority employee-owned hotel.

The Tabard Inn is your homebase whether you're in town for sightseeing or business. Our Washington, DC boutique hotel is ideally located on a quiet street in Dupont Circle within walking distance to all the main attractions including the White House, National Mall, Smithsonians, and Embassy Row.
