The charm of discovering something local.nestled in a pine grove just 1.5 miles outside of downtown Portsmouth and Kittery Foreside, the Kittery Inn and Suites has been restored to keep the rustic charm of the original 1950s inn, but with all the tasteful style and upgraded amenities that the modern traveler has come to expect. Located in Kittery, ME, the oldest town in Maine and home of the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, we are the first hotel over the border from Portsmouth, NH, just past the Welcome to Maine sign.

The inn is convenient to all that Southern Maine and the Seacoast has to offer and is easily accessible from I-95 and Route 1. Looking for a weekend away to enjoy nearby fine dining, shopping and a day at the beach or by our pool? We've got you covered. Staying longer for work at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard? We can help you there too.

Amenities at the Kittery Inn and Suites include new large 43 HD TVs, in-room coffee and tea service, fridge and microwave, new wi-fi network, and a new bedding package with duvets, as well as a continental breakfast.
Services
We've come to realize that in many ways, the design of our 1950s-era motel is well suited for social distancing: Pull up and park directly in front of your room.
Our office is open for in-person check-in with a protective divider and masked front desk staff (they're smiling at you underneath it :), but if you're so inclined, utilize our contact-less check-in procedures without having to step into any lobbies, hallways, elevators or other indoor common spaces.
Stay in a standalone cabin for extra social distancing, or book one of our rooms with a kitchenette to cook your own meals.
We offer a light, cold continental breakfast from 6:30AM to 9:30AM daily.
This is not the big carb bonanza you might expect at other hotels.
Instead, in the limited space we have for breakfast, we strive to put out quality food with some good healthy options, for example the coffee we serve is the premium Organic Guatamala Whole Bean from Rockin' and Roastin, picked by our staff as the best coffee we have tried.
The motel was built in and around the trees and it is nice to sit outside and relax.
The small numbers on the map correspond to A for Attractions, B for Beaches, N for Necessities, P for Pubs/Nightlife, and R for Restaurants.
