Since opening in 1956, Hotel Coral Reef has been part of life on the island of Kaua'i and our enviable beachfront location ensures you will enjoy beautiful, uninterrupted views and access to the breathtaking coastline of "'the garden island". We are situated in one of the most captivating tourist areas- the quaint and eclectic Kapa'a town- with its' wonderful little shops, restaurants, live entertainment, farmers markets, small boat harbor, adventure tours and local conveniences.
Right on the Ocean! Wonderful owners and staff there to assist your every need. Free bicycles, beach chairs, snacks for breakfast. We didn't have a car but everything we needed was right there. Great food options everywhere. This is definitely a place I will return to stay. We only needed an extra 2 days to finish our trip in kauai. This place was a much better option than the other mega-resort we had for 5 days.

We are located 8 miles north of Lihue International Airport (LIH), at the north end of Kapa'a town.
Travel north on Kuhio highway and into north Kapa'a.
You will pass the ABC store, the Kountry Kitchen and the Kapa'a Public Library.
After you cross a small stream, you will see the Hotel located on the right-hand side.
Lihue Airport is served by a number of airlines with direct daily service from North American cities as well as inter-island flights.
