White Oaks Pet Motel is located in a beautiful rural setting on a quiet paved road in West Michigan. White Oaks has been family owned and operated for 34 years by Les and Marge Simcox of Newaygo, Michigan. Their son Bud has also played a large roll in operating and maintaining the facility. Over the years White Oaks has evolved from a small kennel in 1983, housing up to 20 dogs and cats.
In 1987 a petting zoo was added with exotic animals that was open to the community for education. In 1993, the kennel was expanded to house up to 90 four legged guests! As the owners of White Oaks Pet Motel, Les and Marge have built a solid reputation of excellence with the local veterinarians, businesses, the community and clientele.

Services
Many of our beloved visitors are in their later years of life.
Our front kennel section is where these pets receive the closest monitoring and non-fluctuating temperatures.
Thick bedding is recommended for those suffering from painful arthritis or weak hips.
There is no charge for walking dogs.
We walk each dog individually 3 to 4 times per day.
It is important to us that each pet has one on one attention and that their bathroom habits are monitored closely.
We are experienced in dealing with boarders who lose their appetite during their time away from family.

By this we mean there is a 4' x 5' inside portion and a connected 4' x 10' covered outdoor portion separated by a vertical sliding door which is controlled by staff.
We also have 4' x 5' kitty condos.
We also have two large outside exercise pens enclosed with 6' stockade fencing and double fenced with 6' hurricane grade chain link fencing.
The largest pen is 40' x 60' with pea gravel.
The smaller pen is 10' x 70' and is all grass.
