Find out about the history of the building, the owners and some insights on living in Annapolis. It's been a very busy year, we are so grateful to all our guests. We've mostly completed our desired renovations with a few more to go this coming off season. While all state restrictions have been lifted, we have kept many of the increased cleaning protocols in place.

We have kept all our cleaning protocols in place. Check us out on Instagram or Facebook to see what we've been up to! Well, it's remodeled, not new and the new look inspired us to give the new look a new name. See you on the other side! Next up is tweaking the fireplaces, replacing drafty back door & window and a secret surprise involving the rooms!

Services
The two townhouses comprising Flag House Inn were built in 1879 and served a number of roles through the years.
Descendants of the original builder say it passed through several generations of their family well into the 20th century.
Each house in the duplex was individually owned, and we have traced the ownership in State Archives/ property records back to the 1920's.
The two townhouses eventually became boarding houses, we have been told by several visitors that occupants were typically young ladies known as "drags" in Navy slang, and the male Midshipmen would call on the ladies in the sitting room.
Located near the waterfront and US Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD, Flag House Inn is a refreshing alternative to large hotels for leisure and business travel.
