The Gannett Peak Lodge in Pinedale Wyoming was renovated from barracks built by the Civilian Conservation Corps. For a few dollars and the cost to remove the barracks, several people from Pinedale purchased and moved the former CCC barracks for businesses, such as this Lodge. This Motel opened in 1953. The Historic GANNETT PEAK LODGE is named after Wyoming's highest peak located deep within the Wind River Range.
