We arrived to Glacier NP a night earlier than expected.
We stumbled upon this hotel and stopped in the office.
The clerk was very friendly and interesting.
He travels around to lots of great places and it was fun to compare notes.
This is a motel but our room felt like a cabin.
It had a lot of great touches (wooden makeshift bed frame, wood moldings, cabin themed curtains) We were able to park right in front of our door which is always our preference.
The train (across the road) sounds its horn all night (ugh!) but it did not wake us from inside our room.
