It later was the home of Robert Wright, Governor of Maryland between 1806 and 1809; and of Ezekiel F. Chambers, State and United States Senator and Judge of the Court of Appeals. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972, and it is a contributing property in the Chestertown Historic District. For nearly 30 years, the Carla Massoni Gallery has worked in collaboration with architects, developers, interior design firms, art consultants, and non-profit organizations to bring art to the workplace.
We have been honored to work with the US State Department's Art in Embassies Program placing our artists work in American embassies throughout the world.
