Our fourth time to stay here! Room is always clean and comfortable. Great location to downtown Gatlinburg. Park the car and walk to everything. Wish I had discovered this place sooner, as I've been coming to the area over the past 40 years. Quaint and clean. Can't beat the price anywhere else in the area. The accommodations were excellent, clean room upon our arrival.
Front desk staff was very professional and pleasant to us during checkin and checkout. The Gillette motel was recommended by a family member. We'll definitely stay in the future if our travel takes us to Gatlinburg and give high recommendations to our family and friends.

In 1957, Carl Gillette started the Gillette Motel.
It began as a simple six rooms alongside his family home.
Raising the family with two businesses - Gillette Motel and Gillette Plumbing and Heating/Air Conditioning - kept all involved very busy.
As Gatlinburg continued to grow up around them, Gillette also continued adding to the Motel, until the last addition in 1974 brought it to where it is today.
Gillette Motel now spans a block long and contains 80 rooms.
But unlike many chain motels, not all the rooms at the Gillette are exactly the same.
