Glen and Jane- some of the nicest people you would want to meet! Made us feel like family the moment we arrived.
The house is elegent!
The rooms are uniquely decked out.
Both Glen and Jane treated us like we were life-long friends even though we just met.
The bed was super comfortable and everything was so clean.
My wife was happy that we found a place that would pass her review.
This home is run by hosts who love people and who are engaging and friendly.
The husband is a long-time Butte resident and therefore Beverly knowledgeable about the area.

Butte, Montana lies in the northern Rocky Mountains on the Continental Divide.
In the late 1800s, prospectors came in search of gold and silver, and they found it.
Yet, it wasn't until the demand for copper grew--thanks to the advent of electricity--that Butte became one of the biggest copper boomtowns in the country.
Referred to as "Richest Hill on Earth, " Butte was the largest city west of the Mississippi.
Men traveled from all over the country and the world to work the copper mines of Butte.

The Berkeley Pit, near the Continental Divide, is a former open pit copper mine.
It is roughly a mile long, a half-mile wide, and around 1,780 feet deep.
The pit contains water up to about 1,000 feet.
The water is highly acidic and contains extremely high levels of heavy metals and toxic chemicals.
You would not want to fall in.
Opened in 1955, Berkeley Pit was mined until it's closure in 1982.
The mine was operated for years by the Anaconda Copper Mining Company, and, then, by Atlantic Richfield (ARCO).
