With mixed emotions, we announce the sale of our beautiful and historic property, and the closing of our bed and breakfast, The Inn at Monticello. Our house, built in 1856 on land that was part of a 9,000-acre grant to a member of the Carter Family, has served as a B&B for the last 33 years. Until that date, we will remain open for business. We wish to express appreciation to our many guests, friends, family members, neighbors, vendors and fellow businesses for visiting with us and supporting our venture.
What a wonderful experience it has been! Above, you'll see our announcement that Inn at Monticello will be closing its doors, and new stewards of this property will be moving in. Now we're looking forward to the next adventure!
