Coastal Route from Portland, ME (85 Miles): Take I-295 North to exit 28 to Route 1 North (Brunswick/Coastal Route 1).
Follow Route 1 North to Route 90 East just north of Waldoboro.
Follow Route 201 into Gardiner and stay straight over the bridge.
At the end of the bridge, turn right then take the next left onto Route 226.
Follow Route 226 until it ends and then take a right onto Route 17. Follow 17 until it intersects with Route 90 in Rockport.
No matter which route you take, make a left hand turn onto Route 90 and follow Route 90 until it meets with Route 1 in Rockport.
Follow Route 1 North to Route 90 East just north of Waldoboro.
