Services
Provincetown, at the very tip of Cape Cod, is a vibrant, welcoming community surrounded by the serenity of the Cape Cod National Seashore.
Provincetown is home to our country's oldest, continually operating art colony, dating back to 1899 when Charles Webster Hawthorne arrived to paint and founded the Cape Cod School of Art.
Attracted to the incredible Cape Cod light, natural beauty and accepting atmosphere, many artists and bohemians came to call Provincetown home.
Hans Hofmann, Franz Kline, Mark Rothko, Blanche Lazzell, Milton Avery, Jack Tworkov, Norman Rockwell and Edward Hopper are only a few of the renowned artists inspired by Provincetown.
It is one of Cape Cod's most sought after locations for special events.
We offer a variety of options and strive to meet all special requests.
Some choose to make the entire Land's End Inn and our expansive lawn theirs for days and nights of celebrating.
Between November and April Land's End Inn offers you a choice of our stunning grounds, solarium and veranda overlooking Provincetown Harbor.
Whether an anniversary party, family reunion, birthday celebration, corporate, non-profit, or political event, Land's End Inn events are expertly managed and delightfully memorable, all in an incomparable setting.
Proceed on Route 25 East for approximately 9 miles to Exit 2: Route 6 East (Provincetown).
Turn left at third Provincetown Center exit (marked Shank Painter Road; single blinking yellow light).
This is certainly the easiest connection for Boston (Logan Airport) arrivals.
Flying time is 25 minutes.
During season, flights operate steadily throughout the day - almost to the point of shuttle service during peak weekend periods.
In spring & fall shoulder periods, there are fewer connections.
Although not the least expensive route, flying avoids the hassle of summer traffic on Cape Cod.
We love to help those covering Provincetown, Cape Cod, travel, inns, b&bs, travel, art and history and can often make special accommodations for journalists.
