C.M. Christansen and his wife, Leta, purchased the assets of the dissolved Hackley-Phelps-Bonnell Company, a prominent lumber mill in the town of Phelps.
With that, they lived and operated their lumber mill from the house that we now call Old World Charm Bed & Breakfast.
Still today, we have relics of what was once a booming company in the lumber industry in the early 20th century.
Even more information and pieces of the past can be found at the Phelps Museum.
Now called C.M. Christiansen Company, C.M. Christiansen was the head of the business for 5 years.
With that, they lived and operated their lumber mill from the house that we now call Old World Charm Bed & Breakfast.
