Since 1969, we have welcomed our Fort Pitt Motel guests. To some, our standard rooms have become their home away from home, while working in area, going to school, or in transition. Times certainly have changed. But some 2000 years ago hospitality was a subject worth writing about in the Good Book. Hospitality remains unchanged. The Pocono Mountains are a famous honeymoon destination.
However, they are six hours from Pittsburgh. After a visit and enjoying the heart shaped whirlpool tub and fireplace, we, (being romantics) converted a room to a Pocono Touch Room. Pittsburgh's first red heart-shaped whirlpool tub was installed by two friends, who called their company Ho Hum Construction. We have heard many love stories. Doctor's appointment, Dentist appointment, or Tax appointment.
