Six Runs Plantation Bed and Breakfast, located in eastern North Carolina in Sampson County, offers southern hospitality with deluxe lodging, hunting and boating. We are a hunting preserve, licensed with the North Carolina Wildlife Association since 1980. Our 1,000-plus acres offers the finest Bobwhite Quail hunting between Raleigh and Wilmington. Bordering the property is Six Runs River where guided, or self-guided, canoe and kayak trips are available to explore a four-mile stretch of primitive waterway.
Six Runs Plantation Lodge is a 7,000-square-foot, two-story structure constructed of heart pine, juniper, and cypress. The Todd House section was built circa 1800 and is heart pine and pegged. The Great Room, with exposed juniper log beams, reflects an openness from the lounge to the private spa. Bedrooms feature antiques, oriental rugs, and comfortable Queen Anne chairs and Chippendale decor.
Along the rear of the lodge is a 70-foot-long sunroom, providing seclusion for guests' comfort, privacy, and relaxation.
