Turn of the Century Bed and Breakfast, located just west of I-85, provides the perfect home away from home in Salisbury, North Carolina. Whether you just want to relax in your comfortable room or explore our rich historical location, we do all we can to meet your needs. We invite you to enjoy the graceful mixture of Victorian era hospitality and modern comforts in our elegant home.
This fastidiously restored historic house, circa 1905, offers three guest rooms with private baths and one exceptional two-room suite that is furnished with a large bedroom, private bath, and cozy sitting room with office space. We spent two years restoring this Victorian home. In fact, Turn of the Century Bed and Breakfast received the 2001 Preservation North Carolina Award of Merit for our work on it.
Our location is absolutely amazing, in part because our inviting porch is just a short stroll away from museums, restaurants, and antique shopping in historic downtown. We pride ourselves on our international clientele, and have hosted wedding parties, corporations, authors, and many other interesting people since 1999.

Turn of the Century Bed and Breakfast was originally built in 1905 as a private residence.
The Heilig-Dees home was then one of the finest examples of late Victorian architecture in the West Square National Register Historic district, here in Salisbury, North Carolina.
The home was purchased in December of 1997 by Karen Windate of Atlanta and underwent a painstaking two-year historic restoration.
This is the second home that Karen has lovingly restored to its original splendor, the first being an 1890's Victorian in the National Register Historic District, located in Madison, Georgia.
