In December of 1918, the Vermilion Village Board of Education appointed a library board of trustees.
The newly appointed trustees immediately began putting aside monies toward a building fund.
We are Markos and Marla both live and work in Vermilion.
Markos has run a sucessful Engineering firm, MV Circuit Design Inc since 1998 and has 2 medical patents in the medication dispencing arena.
He started first out of his rural Vermilion township home then moved to downtown Vermilion Main street store front in 2001 as his company grew he bought the Historic library Police Station in 2003 and has been there ever since.

This is a historic Jail with authentic sliding Iron jail bar doors and therfore there is a potential risks of injury extra care must be taken especialy with younger children.
Special arrangements must be made for children to stay.
Accidental damages, malicious acts, incidentals, thefts of items or damage to building and contents of the Old Vermilion Jailhouse Bed and Breakfast is the responsibility of Customer and must pay all damages that incurred by guest, guest's or invited and uninvited persons that were on premise of the Old Vermilion Jailhouse Bed and Breakfast property.
