Situated in a quiet rural setting, the Hillside Bed and Breakfast is an old restored 1870's farmhouse. What started the Bed and Breakfast was when Dean's mom, Margaret Gamble, suggested that Dean start a Bed and Breakfast, in 1997. Angie, Dean's wife, married into the business in 2003. They were married in Las Vegas, Nevada. In 2008, four bedrooms, a recreational room, banquet room, exercise room, and 37 acres were added to the existing home.
As of 2019, the Hillside Bed & Breakfast has enjoyed twenty-two years of providing service to their guests.
