RHS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the development of independent - small and midsize - ecofriendly hotel and tourism businesses around the globe, pursuing our primary objectives of Conservation Education Sustainable Development. RHS follows the environmental guidelines of UNEP such as "Renewable Energy Opportunities in the Tourism Industry" and promotes UNESCO's World Heritage Sites as well as other nature and cultural destinations.

RHS is fully supported by our parent firm, "RUES Hotel Management & Consulting, " founded by Eberhardt H. Rues in 1976. Our future goals focus on launching Alliances of "RHS EcoFriendly Hotel Worldwide." With the aim to enhance Sustainable Hotel and Tourism Development in conjunction with Environmental Hotel Dual Education system.
