Little Thumb Butte Bed and Breakfast is set on 40 undeveloped acres overlooking the confluence of the Verde River and Granite Creek. Across Granite Creek to the East rises our namesake landmark, Little Thumb Butte. Almost identical to the Thumb Butte in Prescott, our Butte was convincing enough to fool the U.S. Calvary who came to protect that fledgling community in the 1800's.

Since then, our beautiful open rangelands have continued to be home to the indigenous flora and fauna of the upper Sonoran Desert as well as being part of the acreage of the historical Old Morgan Ranch. Located just 25 minutes from the original state capitol, Prescott, 90 minutes from the Grand Canyon, and 60 minutes from Sedona, Little Thumb Butte offers you a convenient base to explore the pleasures of Northern Arizona, or a spectacular private retreat from city life.

Built with authentic western life in mind, Little Thumb Butte offers gracious hospitality to you, as well as your horse. A full-size roping arena, covered stalls, spacious parking, and access to trails on open rangeland makes vacationing with your horse a reality.
