Our family has celebrated many occasions in the beautiful remodeled banquet rooms, eaten at the delicious restaurant and stayed in the hotel! Amazing atmosphere and staff! I love The Kitchen ambiance in the patio area, along with their great customer service and delicious food.

Many visitors are curious about our unique hotel and ask if it was one of the famous 21 Kings Highway missions founded by Father Junipero Serra from 1769 (San Diego) to 1823 (Sonoma).
The answer is, admittedly, no!
But our Mission fits the Mold.
Hotel Mission de Oro was built and opened in 1974 by Jesus Monroy, who was inspired to recreate the mission in his father's hometown of Tepoztlan in Morelos, Mexico.
Jesus's dream was to construct 27 missions, each 400 miles apart, thus creating a new Kings Highway on Interstate-5 from Alaska to Argentina.
An architectural gem infused with modern luxury.
Hotel Mission de Oro was originally built in the Spanish mission style, and has been painstakingly renovated to retain all its original charm.
Nestled in the heart of California, the hotel's restaurant takes advantage by locally sourcing ingredients to bring the best of California to your table.
A balance of elegance and comfort, Hotel Mission de Oro brings beautiful architecture alongside the amenities travelers appreciate most.
