Cottage Lake Bed N Breakfast
Kevin and Susie Egan are the owners of Cottage Lake Gardens, a multi-faceted joint venture they developed gradually over the last twenty years. It includes a two-acre private botanical garden that hosts dozens of garden tours each year including the popular Trillium Tea, Talk & Tours, and a small on-site nursery where Susie grows her specialty plants - trilliums - from seed.

She sells her trilliums as well as other rare and unusual perennials by appointment and through this website. Their newest venture is the opening of Cottage Lake Gardens Bed and Breakfast for out-of-town and local visitors looking for a unique "garden stay" experience. After managing law firms for over 30 years Susie decided to leave the office environment and pursue her love of gardening and horticulture.

Susie is now a master gardener and landscape designer, and also gives gardening talks throughout the region as well as internationally. Because she enjoys sharing her gardening knowledge and experience with others she established a horticultural internship program at Cottage Lake Gardens two years ago which has become quite successful and rewarding.
Services
Cottage Lake Gardens is an enchanting two-acre private estate garden and plant nursery nestled on the eastern shore of Cottage Lake in Woodinville, Washington.
The garden holds a treasure-trove of botanical delights including one of the world's most extensive collections of trilliums, a rare and endangered wildflower.
The gardens were designed by Susie - who is a landscape designer, master gardener, and garden lecturer - to be an inspiration to others and provide a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Susie Egan gives talks on various gardening topics either at Cottage Lake Gardens or at the club's meeting location.
Susie's audiences include local garden clubs, the Northwest Perennial Alliance and its affiliated neighborhood groups, many Arboretum Foundation Units and Master Gardener Clinics.
Susie also gives talks to the public through the King County Libraries, the City of Seattle Public Utilities, the City of Seattle Parks & Recreation Department, the Cascade Water Alliance, and at the Northwest Flower & Garden Show.
Susie is available for private garden consultations to help you make your garden look even more beautiful.

They receive hands-on training in areas that suit their interests, talents and abilities.
They also feel pride in contributing to making Cottage Lake Gardens an exceptional botanical garden for the community.
