We are a family owned bed and breakfast situated on over 100 acres of mature spruce and pine forest, tall prairie grass, numerous trails and nearly one mile of private frontage on the Flat River. Our 1880's farmhouse was built for, and once occupied by the dam keeper, who cared for what was Lowell's first source of hydroelectric power. The home and property are now maintained in a quaint gentleman farm-type setting, offering a close-up, gorgeous view of the Flat River.
We believe the uniqueness of our property makes our home far more than just a place to stay, rather, a destination point for a couple (or couples) looking for an affordable weekend getaway. As a gathering place, our property is ideal for a wide variety of group activities such as weddings, corporate events or family gatherings.
Upon arrival, there are a wagon load of things to do on the property, including fishing, kayaking, hayrides, hiking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, bird watching, or just sit and relax on our scenic viewing area overlooking the river.

When you arrive at our beautiful River Edge Venue you will see our 1880's cozy bed & breakfast farmhouse with an old fashioned garage, an old fashioned wishing well, along with our quaint Cedar lined bridal dressing building complete with two restrooms.
Our event season runs from late April through early November, and hold events on Fridays, Saturdays and certain week days.
We do not offer events on Sundays.
Rehearsal time reservations are scheduled on the Thursday prior to your event day.
The base cost for a one hour pre wedding day rehearsal is $150.00.
There is no charge if you have your rehearsal during your normal wedding day time allotment.
Yes--our dressing building is made available as an area for preparation, as well as elderly guests, parents with babies or small children seeking a temporary quiet place.
We do not offer events on Sundays.
