The Old Union Hotel has been a staple on Clinton Street in the First Ward of Binghamton, NY since it was established in 1888. This three story structure has been modified and updated many times in its 127+ year history but still remains a destination spot. The early owners lived on the second floor in the 4 bedroom apartment above the bar. While living there, they rented out the 11 hotel rooms on the 3rd floor to the men returning from the battle fields.

The bar became an establishment that people kept coming back to and even today, has many regular patrons that feel more like family. Since being purchased in the fall of 2012 by the current owners, brothers Adam and Andy Kipp and their cousin, Mike Cooke, the building has gone through many changes. The exterior has all new windows, doors, and siding.

The tearing down of the adjacent building was the first step toward an outdoor patio and deck opening in the spring of 2017. We also added plenty of exterior lighting to show off the new look.
