Calls and emails to book appointments are much appreciated for daycare but are no longer required! Grooming appointments are booking a few weeks in advance but we might be able to fit in a nail trim or two here and there. We will work to maintain a safe social distancing length of 6' during drop-off and pick-up. Upon entering our lobby, guests are greeted by our concierge, and checked in to their activity, whether it be daycare, boarding or our spa services. Our facility is climate-controlled year round, to ensure the comfort and well-being of our guests. Our premium boarding space offers four luxury suite options for your dog to relax in. Furry friends from the same family may find it more relaxing to enjoy sharing a suite; however, Happy Hounds Hotel will not board overnight dogs from different families together for safety reasons.

Armin, age seven, and Meika, age six, are our babies.
They also happen to be giant schnauzers, and the inspiration behind Happy Hounds Hotel and Day Spa.
In the past, when we traveled, we always had to put our dogs in kennels, for lack of a better option.
However, Armin and Meika - as well as Liebchen and Sieger, our beloved giant schnauzers before them - would often come home thin and ill.
They wouldn't eat, they always seemed sick, and we got to the point where we needed to find a better solution for them when we went on vacation.
