Ashland Ohio's motto is "Ashland Ohio, Someplace Special."
People in Ashland sometimes seem almost to scoff at the idea, but having returned to a small town after having lived in on the East Coast in a crazy, stressful urban environment, we can assure you that Ashland Ohio really is someplace special, where the people are friendly, the traffic is light, and the neighborhoods are safe.

Ashland, Ohio is at the intersection of I-71 and State Routes 250, 60, 42, and 96 (only 20 minutes from Mansfield, Ohio).
If coming from the south, simply stay on I-71 to the Ashland Exit (State Route 250, Exit 186) It will add no more than a minute or two to your drive and will be much simpler!
If coming from the north and your GPS wants to have you turn left on South Street, ignore it and turn left onto Main Street instead.
Or, better yet, ignore it completely and follow the directions below.

Always sad to leave.
Thanks for the wonderful hospitality and especially for the special breakfasts to fit my eating plan.
Thanks for making us feel at home on our vacation.
Breakfast was so elegant and delicious and we enjoyed conversing with you and interacting with your adorable children.
Your restaurant and activity suggestions (especially geocaching which we can't wait to try) were excellent.
P.S.
We really enjoyed all the cool games you have to play as well as the beautiful sink and mosaic design in the bathroom!
