Bonita Beach Resort Motel is a quaint "Old Florida Style" family owned and operated motel on Little Hickory Island. Bonita Beach is only a 2 minute walk across the street and boasts an unbroken shoreline of over five miles on the Gulf of Mexico. The beach has powder white sand and is a shell collector's paradise with over 300 varieties. The warm waters are ideal for swimming and the spectacular sunsets night after night never get old.
Our subtropical climate allows for rich foliage of hibiscus, frangipan and coconut palms, just to name a few. Walk directly across the street to beautiful Bonita Beach or stay on our scenic property and relax on our dock while you take in the beauty of our natural channel off Estero Bay which winds its way between our property and the mangrove islands.
You can spot manatee, dolphin and a wide variety of tropical birds right from our dock. Enjoy fishing off our dock, especially at night where our dock lights are locally famous for attracting many fish - including the prized Snook!

When he's not at work, he likes fishing and cooking (hopefully some freshly-caught fish).
Ellen Mohlenhoff is Andy's aunt and godmother.
No one has more passion for the motel than her.
All year long she can be found making improvements and ensuring our rooms are spotless for our guests.
