Turner's 1816 House sits on three lovely acres in the village of Fair Haven, within easy walking distance of both downtown Fair Haven and Lake Ontario. It is easily accessible - located right on Rte 104A (also called the Seaway Trail) - and is across the street from the entrance to Fair Haven Beach State Park. It is one of the oldest houses in Fair Haven, and although it has been renovated with the conveniences of today, it still retains the charm of yesteryear.
Throughout the house you will find a connection of the past with the present; antique furnishings, pictures and books along with comfortable couches, cable TV and contemporary products from local artists and authors. Three bedrooms are available, one king and two queens, and all have newly renovated attached bathrooms.

Services
The B&B is now owned by Larry & Susan Lemon, retired engineers who came to live in Fair Haven after enjoying many summers on Lake Ontario.
Shortly after retiring, they purchased the Hardware Cafe & General Store in downtown Fair Haven so as to preserve this "historic treasure" and create a local gathering spot.
Early in 2017 they purchased the Turner property and renovated the upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms with the vision of turning it into a bed & breakfast.
They hope to synergize the features of the cafe and other downtown businesses with the needs of the B&B guests to make your stay more enjoyable.

Turners 1816 House was built circa 1816 by Isaac Turner, a veteran from the War of 1812.
The house stayed with the Turner family and their relatives in the Cole family and Brundage family for many generations.
Throughout the years, the house has gone through several renovations both external and internal.
The most recent renovations, which were done in 2017, include upgrading all the bathrooms with new plumbing and state of the art fixtures.
Common areas within the house include the dining room, living room and screened porch; we also have outside seating on our side deck with pergola.

We realize that not everyone likes to plan the night before what time they'll get up and what they'll want for breakfast.
So our policy is "have the breakfast you want, when you want".
We'll have coffee and a continental style breakfast available in our dining room when you get up.
Relax and enjoy your first cup of coffee there or on our beautiful screened porch.
If, after having our delicious home-made muffins, scones, and home-made jams (or yogurt, cereal, and fruit) you find you're still hungry - you may use the voucher supplied with your room towards a full breakfast of your choice at our restaurant down the street - the Hardware Cafe & General Store (another historic building with lots of charm and delicious food- where you can sample real "local flavor"!)

The Colonial room looks like it could have come from the colonial era with its four poster bed, antique pictures and simple but elegant curtains.
It has a unique antique.
The Cottage room is a bright room with a window facing West and two small windows facing South.
It has soft yellow walls and ivory/white furniture and gives the feeling.
The Victoria room is our largest bedroom and as you enter and see the antique chairs, chaise and the four-poster mahogany style bed you might feel that you have stepped.

The Victoria room is our largest bedroom and as you enter and see the antique chairs, chaise and the four-poster mahogany style bed you might feel that you have stepped back into the Victorian age.
However, the four-poster king-sized bed is new as is the Beautyrest plush king mattress.
The walls are painted a coral hue and are adorned with antique pictures as well as pictures by local artists.
The hardwood flooring is new, but made more cozy by the oriental rugs and warm hued colors.
The room has two windows facing North & two facing East - all equipped with plantation blinds and soft drapes, and the room is equipped with wall mounted smart TV, cable, WiFi, window A/C, and room controlled electric baseboard heaters.
