We are a family designed and run luxury boutique hotel located in beautiful McCammon, Idaho in the heart of Marsh Valley. The building that houses the hotel was built in 1906 and was originally the McCammon State Bank building (the vault is now the hotel gift shop), with a mercantile store, post office and apartments also located in it. It is listed on the National Historic Registry and its' architecture is very unique for the area.
Historic details of the building include 11' ceilings, arch-top windows over 8' tall, two large skylights, original wood floors, mouldings and doors, and period photographs and newspapers displayed throughout. Some furniture was constructed of original lumber removed during construction (such as the dining table in the Ruby Suite).
Modern touches include the lighting: 14 crystal chandeliers in the hallways, a custom-made light fixture in the lobby that includes over 1000' of crystal strands and 140 recessed halogen spotlights throughout; three suites with full kitchens including stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops and custom cabinetry; and bathrooms with custom walk-in showers, frameless glass doors and tile imported from Portugal, Spain & Italy.

Services
We stayed in a mediocre hotel during our honeymoon.
After that memorable experience we started thinking about the possibility of creating a luxury hotel "some day" ourselves.
That "some day" came a lot sooner than we thought it would (two years vs. decades down the road).
Neither of us had owned a business nor had any hospitality industry experience prior to embarking on this journey.
Our knowledge of hotels came from staying in hotels around the world during our single days.
When the opportunity presented itself as risky as it sounded, to everyone (including ourselves), we knew that uprooting our family from Washington D.C. and moving to a village pop.
