With limited hotel, motel & BnB lodging available in the area, we are honored to offer: Nonostante-The Main house, has 5 bedrooms & sleeps 12; Nonostante III, is a two bedroom suite within Nonostante, that can be rented independently if the whole house is not needed; The Bunk House, rustic barn unit, sleeps 4; and three, full service RV sites are available.
All this is located on 10 private, fenced & gated acres in Driftwood, Texas. The estate can accommodate couples for a relaxing weekend or groups of 12 in Nonostante, the main house. The property can accommodate up to 200 for weddings, retreats & other events. The rustic bunk-house, with one bedroom, small kitchenette and its own bath can sleep four.
The home is adorned with numerous antiques and collectibles as well as many exotic animal trophies. The game room, with its fully equipped bar, contains a billiards table, 72 TV, pinball and an extensive library with comfortable furniture.

But in 1967, Thurman Roberts, who was known for his delicious barbeque at family reunions, decided he would cook meat for paying customers.
Thurman and his two sons built a huge barbeque pit.
The Salt Lick has grown from there.

Duchman Family Winery remains one of the top wine destinations in Texas.
Our facility was listed by HGTV as one of the 20 most picturesque wineries in the country.
