The Nathaniel Hawthorne room is a guest favorite due to the beautiful two-person corner jetted tub in the room, the tall, hand-carved mahogany queen sized bed, and the unique decor giving it a very romantic feel.
We used embossed wall paper in a deep sage green, with a bronze colored picture rail, and topped the room with the historic hand printed wallpapers from Bradbury and Bradbury in the Raspberry Bramble design.
The ceiling medallion encircles an antique light fixture that is original to when electricity was added to the house.

On Friday night you will check in.
Friday evening the chief investigator will arrive to give details and initial evidence for the murder.
Saturday morning, and Saturday evening we will gather together for additional rounds of clues and further revelations.
In addition there will be clues placed around town for discovery on Saturday afternoon.
Sunday morning after breakfast you can record your solution to the mystery just before we reveal the murderer.
We have two mysteries, both based on the same characters and involving a fictional history of our house.

If we win the lottery we may pay to have the original color scheme researched by forensic paint analysis.
Short of that we have repainted the house using a color palette we thought appropriate to the period.
After starting we found several of our colors underneath the aluminum siding that was added - probably in the 1950s or 1960s.
