While some of our amenities are similar to chain hotel's, our layouts are unique and we generally operate differently. The atmosphere is more laid back and social. Most guests describe it as a very large chalet with a few perks! Season-after-season, we host travelers and takeover groups from all over the Midwest, United States, and even a few internationally.

A nice alternative to our Hostel, these private rooms offer one double/queen bed and one private bathroom.
Great, simple option if you are a light packer, and/or plan to spend more time outside of your room enjoying the lodge or taking in the beauty of the area.
These private rooms are completely interior, which means there are no windows or A/C.
These are the only rooms in the lodge where A/C is not available.

They also have an interior corridor entry, plus bonus, private, exterior entry from the North Yard.
Condo 2 sleeps up to 10 people with a king, double, and two twins.
They are excellent for families and groups, and/or those wishing to do their own cooking.
All condos include a kitchenette, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms.
These units are located inside the lodge building (not separate) and connected to all lodge amenities.
They also have an interior corridor entry, plus bonus, private, exterior entry from the North Yard.
Condo 2 sleeps up to 10 people with a king, double, and two twins.
Single travelers, backpackers, small groups, and recreationalists are loving the new budget friendly lodging options at the Lodge.

The Hostel at Black River Lodge ("Hostel Haven") is ideal for light, self-sufficient travelers or backpackers and is a 2-level condo inside the lodge with 8 single beds (bunk style, co-ed) between 2 bedrooms, plus 2 shared bathrooms (addl shower facilities in pool), and community kitchen.
You won't find anything else like this in the Ironwood area!
