Now a historic bed and breakfast inn, the Plymouth House Inn, was originally built by the late Dr. E.V. Tiffany who practiced medicine in Plymouth, during the California Gold Rush. He found gold under the house while digging and today you can see this mine shaft which is now the Mine Shaft Antiques Shop. Located on Historic Highway 49, Plymouth is in Amador County, the heart of Gold Country and is the perfect place to stay when visiting the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, Amador County's Wine Region.
