Centered in Frankfort's historic Main Street, just two blocks from one of the most picturesque beaches of Lake Michigan, sits the historic Hotel Frankfort. Our 88 year old boutique hotel boasts 17 guest rooms, all with private baths, individually controlled heating and air-conditioning units and each decorated with a unique theme. Our larger rooms feature whirlpool tubs or sauna and some are two floors - perfect for your spectacular Northern Michigan getaway!
We decided to spend a weekend here just to get away and boy were we pleasantly surprised with the amazingly delicious food we had at the restaurant! We started with cocktails - old fashioned for him and wine for me. The old fashioned was one of the best he'd had and my wine was nice and crisp. We ordered the white fish pate, which is made in-house and "good to the last drop."
We were practically licking the plate clean, it was so good! For dinner we ordered the ribeye special and the meatloaf. Both dishes were phenomenal - prepared perfectly and just tasted amazing!
