The Old Apple Barn, just six miles away, was a major stop on the Cloud-Climbing Railroad to transport fresh apples; they now have a vintage emporium, tasty fudge and apple pies and dumplings. We are a great central place to stay while you plan day trips to visit our corner of New Mexico.

No visit is complete without visiting the Lincoln Historic Site, only 75 miles and an hour and a half hour drive away, where Billy the Kid tangled with the Dolan's and escaped from the Lincoln County Court.
