After researching B&B's in Williamsburg, my husband and I decided on Governor's Trace and are so glad we did!
Dick and Sue are wonderful hosts who know the area, made recommendations for us on activities, dining, etc., and made us feel right at home.
We had never stayed at a bed and breakfast and wanted to give it a try.
What a wonderful surprise!
We had done our homework, read all of the reviews, and decided that with the locality, the promise of beautiful accommodations, Colonial charm and a unique breakfast experience, we were in for a memorable treat!

Privacy with a very romantic candlelit breakfast on our own screened in back porch while watching the hummingbirds.
FANTASTIC!
We've traveled to lots of B&B's before, and what makes this one special is that you get breakfast IN YOUR ROOM in the morning.
No rushing to get ready to make it to the dining room on time, no forced conversation with fellow travelers if you just don't feel like it.
Breakfast is a private affair.
You don't have to be dressed for the day when we serve breakfast (we provide robes.)
