The Astoria Crest Motel sits on nearly three acres, overlooking the mighty Columbia River, Astoria cityscape and the Astoria Bridge. Many locals and visitors alike believe this is the best view from any hotel/motel in the area. This local, veteran owned, 39 room motel is located less than three miles east of the city center on HWY 30. This property offers easy access to everything while offering a very quiet, peaceful setting that is not available with any other property.

The relaxing setting, epic views and well maintained rooms, are delivered with the utmost attention to detail by the local owners and caring staff. Your experience while staying at The Astoria Crest Motel will rival those of much higher end hotels at a more affordable price. The Astoria Crest Motel is a hidden gem, away from the congestion that is downtown Astoria.

It suited us perfectly - the room was large and comfortable, with a nice balcony where we could sit and watch the ships and boats on the Columbia. Sunsets were a huge plus to wind down the day.
Services
The Astoria Crest Motel is a long standing icon in the city of Astoria.
Opened in 1952 as the Crest Motel; this was the premier property in the area offering 16 rooms and an owners quarters overlooking the Columbia River.
Through out the years the original buildings have been renovated and two more buildings were constructed.
These additions made up the 40 rooms the property had to offer.
As they say in the real estate business, There are three things to consider in a home, "Location, Location, Location".
We take great pride in our Motel and do our very best to maintain a clean, comfortable place for your stay.
32 of our rooms have outstanding views of the Columbia River near the mouth of the Pacific Ocean and include a patio or balcony.
Some of these rooms have bath tubs and some have showers only.
We have adjoining rooms available as well.
They have small showers and do not offer a patio.
We offer limited pet friendly rooms that are all located on the ground floor and feature hard surface floors.
Are you looking for a great place to hold a business meeting, training event, leadership conference or perhaps a quilt/craft retreat or family reunion?
This space was actually designed by quilters so it has enhanced electrical and lighting systems which allow for everything you need to enjoy your groups time together.
We have round and rectangular tables and chairs, as well as a large Smart 55 Flat screen TV with great WiFi.
The room features a small counter top area with a sink and mini fridge as well as a private restroom.
I mean, people!
The 180 degree view of the Columbia River with cargo ships and Coast Guard vessels, combined with the echoes of barking sea lions down below in Astoria make this modest hotel a true find.
Our room was completely remodeled and comfortable with a deck to sit on while enjoying the vista.
The hot tub was clean and the breakfast simple.
Need a room on the first floor, no problem, views there as well.
Not all rooms are view rooms so inquire before booking.
Probably the only con to this property is the the decks are right next to each other.
