While the hotel was 20 blocks from the ocean, it offered a more relaxing atmosphere away from the crowds.
The walk to the beach and 3rd Street Promenade was doable and a good way to get exercise for the day.
The hotel is on a bus line for those that do not want to walk and of course there were taxis available.
The hotel rooms were airy and clean.
I particularly liked the imitation wood floor and the shutters on the windows.
And we're not alone!
