I love Boston. My family and I go there often during the year. And the Battery Wharf Hotel has been our "go to" spot for some time. It's ideally positioned for access to the North End. But I gave it four stars because it's beginning to show wear around the edges. Carpet in the rooms have seen better days. Furnishings are getting a little shabby. Things just aren't as crisp as they used to be.

Fantastic location with wonderful harbor views from some rooms. Our first had a great view but we had to move as the previous guest had wet the bed which went unnoticed until our second night when we finally tracked down where the odor was coming from. Our second room had a view of the entrance overhang. Many guests enjoyed using that entry after midnight while speaking loudly.
The door seemed to be heavy made apparent by the sound it made when it was closed. The hotel is a short drive from the airport and easy walk to the freedom trail, aquarium, and the heart of little italy. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Try their restaurant. Great food and drinks available on site Wednesday-Sunday! You might want to bring your own toilet paper as theirs has got to be the worst I've experienced.

Kyle from the front desk went above and beyond to accommodate my mother who was visiting from out of town. He was serving on multiple fronts while keeping a smile. He has done this before, but is still sharp/alert - this enables him to respond to problems early on and I did not find myself having to explain myself - he get it. Lastly, he is personable and approachable.
Its the fact that he was there to accommodate, that I will be a returning costumer to this hotel. In short, it is Kyle's level of service that made me feel that I am getting good value for what I invested in the stay. Downsides: Request you car from the valet 20 mins ahead of time

The rooms and location were great. BUT be advised that there are no restaurants and no bar service or minbar available. YET they add $100 a day to you bill and charge it to your account. When I inquired why the hold was not removed after I checked out, I was told their system doesn't work that way and they will keep the charge on there until their bank adjusts the charge which is a minimum of 3 business days. No other hotel that I know of holds the charge after you check
