Built in 1890 this bed and breakfast is a survivor of the great hurricane of 1900. From Houston Texas: Take I-45 south for about 60 miles until you crossover Galveston bay bridge.
I-45 becomes Broadway/Highway 87 at the first red light.
Stay on Broadway until 17th Street.
Turn right on 17th and go 2 blocks to Avenue L. Turn left on Avenue L and look for 1607 [on the right side of the street].
We are only a short distance from the historic downtown Strand with its many shops, theaters, and restaurants.
We are also located close to the Galveston cruise ship terminal.
